Project Requirements:
Develop a 750V 800A rated inverter which is integrated into the motor assembly for electric vehicle powertrain integrations. The system must meet ISO26262 ASIL C/D safety compliance for both hardware and software systems.
Project Outcomes:
Neuroglia Technologies successfully delivered an automotive grade, safety compliant integrated motor inverter assembly for client use in electric vehicle powertrain integrations. The project was completed from concept to first article spin in under 4 months. The design included development of a secure multi-core 32bit lockstep MCU and System Basis Chip (SBC) to meet safety critical requirements. Custom isolation transformers rated to 5kV for gate driver design. Delivered software features including bootloaders over CAN Bus, system calibration over the CAN Bus interface, and a model-based inverter control software workflow.
